William Hill Nevada Employees Honored at 2014 HOME Awards

Las Vegas’ Mortez Bradley named Most Inspirational Colleague

BRIGHTON, ENGLAND – William Hill hosted its annual night of recognition and celebration with the 2014 HOME Awards at The Grand Hotel in Brighton, England.  William Hill U.S. was well represented by 12 colleagues making the trip, including representatives from three Nevada Sports Book locations and two individuals named as finalists for their achievements from the past year.

Thirteen awards were given out throughout the night.  Las Vegan Mortez Bradley won the award for Most Inspirational Colleague.  Bradley was nominated by six of his peers and was selected from over 17,000 William Hill employees from the United Kingdom, Gibraltar, Israel, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Australia, the Philippines, and the U.S.

Bradley began his Sports Book career at Gold Spike Casino as a Ticket Writer in 2010.  Shortly after William Hill came to Nevada in 2012, Bradley was promoted to Downtown Sports Book Supervisor.  His role includes leading the teams at five William Hill Sports Books located on Fremont Street.

“Mortez is a team player that has been there not only for me but the entire team. Any hour that I have needed him he has been on call. He has been an inspiration for me. His help has been invaluable,” one of his colleagues wrote.

When asked about his victory, Bradley said “When they called my name, it was an out of body experience that I’ve only felt once in my life before, watching my first son being born.  I felt an overwhelming high on life.”
