Bet UFC with William Hill, America’s #1 sportsbook.
A massive card looms tomorrow on Fight Island.
William Hill currently has odds up for 11 UFC 257 fights, including an enormous headliner between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier.
This lightweight battle features the No. 2-ranked Poirier and No. 4-ranked McGregor. Even though he has a lower ranking, McGregor still finds himself as -320 chalk at William Hill. Poirier, meanwhile, is listed at +260.
McGregor originally opened at -240 and Poirier was +200 when William Hill first released this fight’s odds on Nov. 20, 2020.
William Hill bettors are backing the favorite in the main event, as McGregor has seized 56% of the total number of tickets and 86% of the total dollars wagered among all moneyline bets against Poirier.
“McGregor has always been a big draw, and pretty much whatever’s in the pot right now is on McGregor,” said Nick Bogdanovich, Director of Trading for William Hill US. “I would imagine that we’ll need Poirier pretty good. Every parlay will be going to McGregor that day for sure.
McGregor is not the most lopsided bet for tomorrow’s slate, though. Three fighters are grabbing at least 90% of the total dollars wagered in their respective bouts: Khalil Rountree Jr. (-360) at 98% against Marcin Prachnio (+270), Amanda Ribas (-320) at 96% against Marina Rodriguez (+260) and Sara McMann (-130) at 91% against Julianna Pena (+110).
The two most popular wagers in terms of total number of tickets are two of the bigger favorites on the entire card: Movsar Evloev (-550 against Nik Lentz) and Rountree Jr. have reeled in 87% apiece in that category.
Two underdogs have caught the attention of William Hill bettors as well.
Amir Albazi (-105 against Zhalgas Zhumagulov) has gotten 71% of the total number of tickets and 76% of the total dollars wagered, while Antonio Carlos Junior (EVEN against Brad Tavares) has received 55% of the total number of tickets and 71% of the total dollars wagered. Carlos Junior has seen a noticeable odds shift in his head-to-head with Tavares, as he’s gone from +130 to his current price at even-money odds.
