Bet NHL with William Hill, America’s #1 sportsbook.

The Lightning have raced out a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Final, and are just two victories away from repeating as champions. Yet the series now heads to Montreal, where the Canadiens will try to turn things around in front of their faithful.

These two foes will hit the ice for Game 3 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, with tonight’s clash being showcased on NBC.

The Lightning outscored the Canadiens 8-2 in the first two games of the series. Seven different Tampa Bay players notched a goal, including Nikita Kucherov sending the puck past Carey Price twice in Game 1.

Now the Lightning find themselves as road favorites in Game 3.

“We opened Lightning -140 and it’s down to -135,” said Nick Bogdanovich, Director of Trading for William Hill US. “We got a little money on the home dog. I’m expecting a similar handle to Games 1 and 2, we’ll see if the Canadiens can make this a series.”

With Tampa Bay -135 on the moneyline, Montreal is priced at +115 to take Game 3. The total has been set at 5, with the over slightly favored at -115 and the under residing at -105.

While each team has gotten 50% of the total number of tickets for all moneyline wagers as of now at William Hill, the Canadiens have the advantage with 68% of the total dollars wagered.

William Hill bettors are more aligned on the total, with the under collecting 61% of the total number of tickets and 64% of the total dollars wagered. After Game 1 went over the total thanks to three third-period goals, Game 2 went under. The totals for the previous two contests in this Stanley Cup Final closed at 5.

The Lightning are also now -1600 chalk for series futures, whereas the Canadiens are all the way up to +900. Before Game 1, the series prices were Lightning -280 and Canadiens +240.
