A trip to the Stanley Cup Final is up for grabs in tonight’s Game 7 between the Lightning and the Islanders.

The winner of tonight’s showdown will face the Canadiens in the Stanley Cup Final. Montreal eliminated the Golden Knights in Game 6 last night in overtime.

The Islanders won Game 6 in dramatic fashion at home, with Anthony Beauvillier’s overtime goal knotting the series at three games apiece. Now this series will be determined at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT in Tampa Bay, where the Lightning won 8-0 in Game 5 the last time these two teams played there.

The Lightning opened as -175 favorites in Game 7, however their price has dropped down to -165. On the other hand, the Islanders are listed at +145 to pull off the upset. The total resides at 5, with the over at -130 and the under at +110.

“We’re actually high on the Islanders and we have one of the higher prices on them too,” said Nick Bogdanovich, Director of Trading for William Hill US. “So I expect this to drop even more leading up to the game. I guess bettors aren’t too worried about that 8-0 game. They’re definitely betting the dog in this one.”

The Lightning have the edge with 52% of the total number of tickets for all moneyline wagers in Game 7, whereas the Islanders have the advantage with 67% of the total dollars wagered.

That is highlighted by one New Jersey bettor staking $27,000 on Islanders ML +150 for a total potential payout of $67,500. That same bettor also has a $25,000, two-leg parlay on Canadiens ML +125 from last night and Islanders ML +150 tonight. If New York triumphs in Game 7, the total payout on that parlay would be $140,625.

William Hill bettors are more aligned on the total, with the over securing 60% of the total number of tickets and 70% of the total dollars wagered.

Bogdanovich also revealed the tentative Stanley Cup Final series prices for each team against Montreal. The Lightning would be heavy -280 chalk over the Canadiens (+240), while the Islanders would be -140 favorites against the Canadiens (+120).
