UFC unveiled its first-ever Fight Island card with last weekend’s UFC 251. And now, there are two more events this week at the same location in Abu Dhabi.
UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige is slated for Wednesday night, while UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs. Benavidez 2 will be on Saturday. William Hill currently has odds up for 23 fights across the two cards.
Wednesday’s Fight Night will feature two of UFC’s top-10 featherweight contenders duking it out in the main event.
No. 6-ranked Calvin Kattar is currently priced at -300 at William Hill, while No. 10-ranked Dan Ige is +250. Additionally, over 2.5 rounds is favored at -155 with under 2.5 at +135.
Kattar (21-4) won his last fight via TKO against Jeremy Stephens at UFC 249 back in May. On the other side, Ige (14-2) has won has past six bouts and will look to continue that streak in his main event debut.
There will be a title fight on Saturday night, as Joseph Benavidez seeks revenge against Deiveson Figueiredo for the vacant flyweight belt. Figueiredo bested Benavidez via TKO in their first showdown in Feb. 2020, however he was unable to capture the flyweight championship because he went over at the weigh-in.
Figueiredo (18-1) is the -215 favorite at William Hill to emerge victorious in this rematch, and Benavidez (28-6) is +185.
