The college football season is officially kicking off tomorrow.
In a battle between FCS powers, Central Arkansas is a 5.5-point favorite (-210 on the moneyline) at William Hill against Austin Peay. The total is currently set at 45.5 points. William Hill will also have InPlay available in Nevada once this contest begins.
Both of these teams ended last season ranked, as Austin Peay finished at No. 10 with Central Arkansas right behind at No. 11.
The game will be held at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama—which has been the site for every FCS season opener since 2017.
Both teams have exciting quarterbacks leading the charge. Central Arkansas signal-caller Breylin Smith tied a school record with 32 touchdown throws last season, and also had set a new program-high with 3,704 yards through the air.
Meanwhile, Austin Peay quarterback Jeremiah Oatsvall was named OVC Freshman of the Year back in 2017, and followed that up with 26 total touchdowns in his sophomore campaign. Oatsvall is looking to rebound this season after suffering a season-ending injury in his second game last year.
