Bet college basketball with William Hill, America’s #1 sportsbook.
The two best college basketball teams in the country square off tonight with a national championship in sight. Legacies are on the line, including one team aiming for the first perfect season in men’s college basketball since Indiana in 1975-76.
Undefeated Gonzaga takes on Baylor at 9:20 p.m. ET/6:20 p.m. PT on CBS. Besides the spread, total and moneyline, there are several other ways to bet this title clash at William Hill.
At William Hill Nevada, there are 10 player scoring props available. Gonzaga’s Drew Timme has the highest number of any player at 21, whereas Jared Butler is tops for Baylor at 16.5. Jalen Suggs, whose buzzer-beater against UCLA sent Gonzaga to the championship game, sits at 15.
“We just looked at their season scoring average, average for the tournament and the type of team they’re going up against,” said Nick Bogdanovich, Director of Trading for William Hill US. “It’s fairly easy to come up with a starting number, and then we’ll let bettors figure it out from there. Gonzaga’s player scoring props were a little shorter this past weekend against UCLA because UCLA was supposedly going to slow it down. These ones against Baylor are more in line with what you would expect because it’s a normal total for a Gonzaga game and Baylor will run with them.”
The other player prop on the board in Nevada is who will score the first field goal of the game. Timme is the +350 favorite in that market, followed by Suggs at +500. Butler and Corey Kispert are tied for the third-lowest odds at +550 apiece, with MaCio Teague (+600) and Davion Mitchell (+650) close behind. Flo Thamba has the longest odds of any single player listed at 18/1, while the field is at 30/1.
While the game total for tonight has dropped from 160 to 159.5, one scoring prop has increased since it was first released in Nevada. The total number of three-pointers made for Gonzaga vs. Baylor opened at 15.5 and is now up to 16.5.
Other Nevada game props include the largest lead in the game (over/under 13.5 points), first to 10 points (Gonzaga -135/Baylor +115) and will there be overtime (YES +700/NO -1100).
You can also wager on the margin of victory for Gonzaga vs. Baylor. Gonzaga winning by 1-5 points leads the way at +350, followed by Gonzaga 6-10 at +400 and Baylor 1-5 at +450. The longest odds in that market are Baylor by 21-25 points at 40/1, while Gonzaga winning within that same range is 14/1.
