WILLIAM HILL SPORTS BOOK BECOMES FIRST IN U.S. TO TAKE BETS ON PRO FOOTBALL DRAFT
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (April 10, 2017) – Following Friday’s approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board to accept wagers on the 2017 National Football League Draft, William Hill became the first Sports Book in the United States to legally offer betting on the Draft.
On Sunday morning, William Hill opened wagering on the 2017 NFL Draft with a menu of ten prop bets (listed below and attached). The first wager was placed shortly after – a $10 bet on the OVER of “2.5 LSU PLAYERS SELECTED IN ROUND 1”. The $10 wager, placed at +110 odds, would net $11 if three or more LSU Tigers are selected in the First Round on Thursday, April 27.
