Start of college bowl season highlights this weekend’s In-Play wagering menu

After going a weekend with next to no college football, this Saturday’s start to the college bowl season is the highlight of the upcoming William Hill In-Play wagering menu.

This weekend’s In-Play slate will feature five NFL games, starting with Thursday’s 5:20 p.m. PT meeting between the playoff-hopeful Cincinnati Bengals and the Philadelphia Eagles. But Saturday brings the first two of 35 bowl games that will be played between then and the Jan. 7 BCS championship game between No. 1 Notre Dame and No. 2 Alabama.

First, at 10 a.m. PT, it’s the New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque, which should draw plenty of local interest throughout Nevada, as the UNR Wolf Pack takes on the Arizona Wildcats in a game that could be a shoot-out from start to finish. Then, at 1:30 p.m. PT, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl kicks off in Boise between Toledo and 22nd-ranked Utah State. Two of the nation’s strongest mid-major programs meet in a bowl game that each year seems to turn into a thriller.

Also included are a pair of monster NFL games on Sunday, including a 10 a.m. PT meeting for AFC playoff positioning between the 10-3 Denver Broncos and the 9-4 Baltimore Ravens. On Sunday night, at 5:20 p.m. PT, it’s a potential Super Bowl preview, when the 9-3-1 San Francisco 49ers travel to face the New England Patriots, who are fresh off of a beat-down of the Houston Texans.

In-Play wagering is offered at all William Hill locations throughout Nevada, and can also be utilized via the William Hill Mobile Sports betting app, which is compatible with any iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, Android tablet or Blackberry device.
