The top spot in the AFC South standings is on the line tonight, as the 6-2 Titans host the 5-3 Colts at 8:20 p.m. ET/5:20 p.m. PT.
After the Titans opened as 2.5-point home favorites, the spread is now down to pick’em in this divisional affair.
“This line has been all over the place,” said Nick Bogdanovich, Director of Trading for William Hill US. “The Colts have been really good on the road. There are also people who clearly think that the Colts are the better team, and that they’ll show up in such a crucial game. But this line being so tight makes sense given how even these two teams are.”
Despite the line moving in the direction of Indianapolis, many William Hill bettors are still backing Tennessee.
The Titans are generating 74% of the total number of tickets and 62% of the total dollars wagered for all spread bets against the Colts, as well as 66% of the total number of tickets and 52% of the total dollars wagered on all moneyline bets.
Yet, the two largest wagers at William Hill for tonight’s matchup as of now are on the road team.
One Nevada bettor placed $22,000 on Colts -110 moneyline for a total potential payout of $42,000, while another Nevada bettor put down $11,000 on Colts +1.5 (-110) for a total potential payout of $21,000.
The total has dropped half a point from its 49 opener, yet the majority of William Hill bettors think the first contest of Week 10’s action will have plenty of scoring.
“Straight is slightly to the over,” Bogdanovich said. “All the parlays are on the over. Come game time, we’ll definitely need the under. I think the weather’s pretty good there for tonight too.”
The over is getting 59% of the total number of tickets and 56% of the total dollars wagered among all straight total bets for this showdown.
