Bet NFL with William Hill, America’s #1 sportsbook.
Week 7 of the NFL season features an undefeated showdown, one massive spread swing of 3.5 points and the first team that is bringing in 90% of the tickets and dollars in their matchup since Week 2.
The Steelers and Titans highlight an intriguing Week 7 schedule, as the two 5-0 teams square off in Tennessee. Pittsburgh opened at -1 at William Hill and reached as high as -1.5 before the favorite flipped. Now Tennessee is a 1-point favorite, yet William Hill bettors are siding with the underdog.
The Steelers are drawing 62% of the total number of tickets and 70% of the total dollars wagered among all spread bets against the Titans.
That includes the largest NFL Week 7 wager taken at William Hill thus far, as one Nevada bettor placed $60,000 on Steelers +1 (-110) for a total potential payout of $114,545.45. Meanwhile, another Nevada bettor put down $11,000 on Titans pick’em (-110) for a total potential payout of $21,000.
Pittsburgh is not the only underdog obtaining the majority of the tickets and dollars. The 49ers (+2.5 at Patriots) are receiving 59% of the total number of tickets and 62% of the total dollars wagered, and the Bears (+6 at Rams) are capturing 71% and 79% in the two respective categories.
Besides Steelers vs. Titans, only one other Week 7 spread has moved by multiple points. Washington opened as a 3.5-point home underdog against the Cowboys, yet that line shifted 3.5 points down to a pick’em. Despite a brutal performance on Monday night against the Cardinals, Dallas is still being backed by most William Hill bettors. The Cowboys are reeling in 78% of the total number of tickets and 76% of the total dollars wagered.
While there’s plenty of love for the Cowboys this week as of now, one other team stands alone as the most popular spread bet in weeks at William Hill. The Packers are 3.5-point road favorites against the Texans, and Green Bay has generated 90% of the total number of tickets and 95% of the total dollars wagered. No team is getting a higher percentage of total dollars wagered in Week 7, and only the Bills (-11 at the Jets) are surpassing the Packers in tickets at 91%.
The Packers are the first team to be attracting at least 90% of the total number of tickets and total dollars wagered on a Friday since Week 2. Two sides were grabbing a hefty amount of the action then: Bills -5.5 at Dolphins and Chiefs -9 at Chargers. Neither of those popular spread bets ended up covering in Week 2’s action.
