The 2020 Triple Crown season is upon us, as 10 horses will be competing in the 2020 Belmont Stakes.
This is a unique version of the Belmont Stakes, as this will be the first time in the 152-year history of the race that it is preceding both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. Additionally, the Belmont has been shortened to 1 1/8 miles, making it the shortest of the three Triple Crown legs this time around.
William Hill just released odds for the Belmont Stakes, with Tiz the Law as the even-money favorite to win the race.
Tap It to Win, Sole Volante and Dr Post are all tied for the second-lowest odds at 5/1 apiece. At the bottom of the board, Jungle Runner is the biggest longshot at 65/1.
Tiz the Law is also a 7/2 co-favorite to win the 2020 Kentucky Derby with Honor A.P. This year’s Kentucky Derby is scheduled to take place on Sept. 5.
William Hill also has a couple of Triple Crown props available. You can bet on whether the Belmont winner will also finish in first at the Kentucky Derby, with “NO” priced at 1/8 and “YES” at 11/2. Additionally, for whether there will be a Triple Crown winner in 2020, “NO” is a 1/12 favorite with “YES” at 15/2.
Below are William Hill’s odds for the 2020 Belmont Stakes, which is available to bet on the William Hill Nevada Mobile Sports app. You can catch the excitement on NBC this Saturday at approximately 5:42 p.m. ET/2:42 p.m. PT.
