Get ready to start your engines again! NASCAR returns this Sunday in South Carolina, as 40 of the best drivers in the world are slated to compete in the Darlington 400.
Kyle Busch remains a 5/1 favorite heading into the weekend, and has attracted 7% of the total number of tickets as well as 9% of the total dollars wagered. Yet, a different driver has generated even more action among William Hill bettors.
Joey Logano, who is tied for the fourth-lowest odds at 15/2 with Brad Keselowski, leads everyone at 15% of the total dollars wagered. Logano also matches Busch with 7% of the total number of tickets.
Only Kevin Harvick is ahead of Logano in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series standings, and several William Hill bettors think Harvick can extend his points lead over the field. Harvick has received 8% of the total dollars wagered and 6% of the total number of tickets.
Further down the board, NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson offers 22/1 odds. Many are enamored with the longshot price, as Johnson has generated 8% of the total dollars wagered and 6% of the total number of tickets.
Among the drivers with the highest odds to capture the checkered flag at the Darlington 400, Timmy Hill (2000/1) has gotten 2% of the total number of tickets and 1% of the total dollars wagered. Hill finished in the top five in six of the seven eNASCAR races that took place over the last two months.
